It's cold Outside. Lets have fun!

It is really cold outside, snowing, and houses are so warm and comfortable.
It's winter !
When this weather takes over the city, people from Moscow..... Go outside and have fun!
Young, old, kids. Everyone!
They must, or else, they will spend all winter at home, doing nothing.
So, the best choice, is to wear warm clothes, and enjoy what winter has to offer.
And let me tell you, it is really good funny and healthy.
When it's time for a pause, nothing better than hot tea inside warm tea house.

New Year

Happy New Year to all!

New Year (Eve Ning), is something in Moscow!

People feel no cold and all go out to celebrate!
It's insane!
One thing that i never saw before, is the tremendous amount of fire works that people use.
In Europe, it's prohibited to use fire works, unless you have a special license, and you are specialized company.
Here, you can see fire works exploding everywhere. Thrown from every window, cracking from the night until the next day starts.
Even though, for you to go out of the metro station in Red Square, it takes lots and lots of time, because of security measures, because as some of you may know, last year terrorism hit the capital of Russia.
You can see in the picture here.

Tomorrow i take the train to Rostov.
See you latter!

Army at the Gorgy Park

After reading the novel by the writer Martin C. Smith, Gorky Park was one of those place that i wanted to visit.
The description on the book created in my mind an image, that was confirmed yesterday.
Dozens and dozens of ice skaters having fun, Tchaikovsky playing loud, people dancing and drinking hot wine, embraced in old trees and snow.
Pure magic!
The preparations for new year started. You can see it in every corner of the city, and the people in a rush to buy their last time gifts.
For one thing i was not prepared at all.
In the main entrance of Gorky Park, there was an army standing.
Dozens of soldiers.
Almost like the terracota soldiers, but build in snow!
The army of snow man is now ready for welcome the new year!

Oh, i almost forgot.
Russia is also known by vodka.
But..... Until now.... No vodka for me.
Tradition is not what it was anymore =)

15 minutes may last 2 hours

As some of you may know, after entering Russia boarders, you have 3 days to register yourself in a city.
I am in Moscow right now, so a russian friend helped me in that task.
You can do this small process in the migrational services, or in the post office.
We went to the post office.
Everything in the documents is in........ Russian! So, unless you know russian, you will not be able to fill in the forms.
In the website of the migrational, it says that 15 minutes is the normal time of the conclusion of this process.
Sometimes in Russia, 15 minutes can last for 2 hours.
Anyway, the process is done, and i will offer you some pics, being the first one referent to the registration.
